Today 7th June 2026 Gilgit Baltistan GB General election is being contested on 24 seats. 400 candidates from the different political parties and Independent are participating. Election Commission of Pakistan is monitoring the Gilgit-Baltistan GB, Hunza, Gilgit, Skardu, Hunza, Ghizer, Diamer, Ghanche, Nagar, Astore, and also other districts of GB. In Gilgit Baltistan Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf PTI, PMLN, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz, and Pakistan Peoples Party PPP are contesting. The election purpose is to select Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly by voting.
